WHATLEY SR4 LIGHT POLE OVERVIEW
Whatley Straight Round SR4 composite light poles are manufactured using a pultrusion process that provides a consistently strong, fiberglass-reinforced composite structure. In production, Whatley integrates a continuous roll of reinforced fiberglass strands with a woven fiber mat. These components are saturated in a proprietary resin formulation and then processed through a heated die. The materials are pulled through the die, (hence the term, pultrusion).
Direct-embed and anchor-base SR4 light pole models are available with mounting heights ranging from 6' to 12'. The outer diameter of the non-tapered pole shaft is 4". The engineered-composite pole is a durable, dent-resistant structure that will not rust, rot, or decay even when subjected to frequent moisture, salt, de-icing solutions, fertilizers, and other harsh conditions.
The SR4 is a petite light pole with a small footprint which makes it ideal for use as an affordable lamp post in small-scale residential, campus, municipal, and commercial projects. The post is available with decorative Whatley Xtreme elastomeric-urethane base covers that provide enduring beauty and long-lasting performance.
